Three definitions of “THE” truth according to the Bible

Have you ever lied? We live in a world full of deception. An English saying states that if you want to get rid of tree, eliminate it from the roots otherwise it will sprout. Before we find out what the Bible has concerning truth, let us first get the source of lies. Let us find out what God tells us about lies.

John 8:44 “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” So we got it, the devil is the source of lies and when we lie, we are his. God knows we are an endangered species to such lies and He has not forgotten us neither has He left us into the arms of the enemy.

Although deception enslaves us unto the devil, God has a way out for us. We shall be free if we shall know the truth. John 8:32, Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” So far, if you are keenly following we are getting somewhere together.

Now let us find out the three definitions of the truth according to the world of God.

NO 1: JESUS IS THE TRUTH; 1 John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
